The Power of a picture

The power of a picture is amazing. It can totally change the energy in a room, home or office. A picture can be one of the easiest ways to create change in your life through the sense of sight.

When you purchase a piece of art you are actually purchasing the energy of the artist. How an artist is feeling about life, what is happening in their life will come the art that they produce.

When I paint; I paint with a purpose. I will only paint when my mind is happy and alive. I like to work with the energies of the moon so the majority of my art is always produced during the waxing phase of the moon. I will often paint on certain dates so again the energy is increased.

When I paint or design I always work with the principals of feng shui, colour and numerology as well as symbolization.

For example, two of my favourite paintings are "Sunflowers" and "The Dragonfly".

The energy of the Dragonfly is transformation. It helps us to change our life and our view on life. It will show you how to break free of the old and allow the new. Often we tend to stay where we are because it is was we know and what we trust. You know the saying it is better to be with the devil we know then what we do not know. To grow means to change. Life is far too short to stay stagnant. The colour combination is mainly turquoise and green. When you combine green and turquoise it gives you a sense of peace and harmony and help to remove any tension that you may have. The purple will give you strength to change, the pink relates to the heart chakra.

Sunflowers

Sunflowers represent golden opportunities.

I have painted nine sunflowers. The nine is the number for success and often triple success.

I have placed the sunflowers on a turquoise background. The colour turquoise helps you to be true, to be honest and to do what is best for you. The green represents the heart chakra. Green also represents the wood element which brings growth new ideas and abundance.

The colour yellow gives clarity and optimism.

The Dragonfly

The energy of the dragonfly is transformation.

The Dragonfly helps us to change our lives and especially our view on life. It helps to show you how to break free of the old so you can allow the new into your life.

I regularly teach art and how to be creative at my studio on the Northern Beaches.

I have been teaching self esteem through art and creativity for many years. I first started in Armidale, NSW where my studio was constantly booked out.

Classes are now available on the Northern Beaches, Sydney, NSW. Student from 4 years old through to 94 years old love to come and play with me. You do not need to have any artist ability or experience what so ever. I will teach you how easy it is to create and allow the artist within to come out.

One of my favourite courses is "The Stroke and The Dot". The kids love it as well as the adults. It is one of the easiest way to allow the flow of creativity to come forward. Everyone leaves with a wonderful piece of artwork to place on their wall.

Creating is a wonderful way to ease pain in the body, relax the mind, reduce stress and to be in the now. Many clients have been able to improve their health, change their life even some ladies fall pregnant after many years of trying after attending some of my classes.

The studio is very colourful and really allows the creativity to flow. You will love it the moment you walk through the door.
